This website is operated by S.M. Enterprises under the brand name hoWme. Throughout these Terms, 'hoWme', 'we', 'us' and 'our' refer to S.M. Enterprises. These Terms govern access to www.howme.in and purchases made through the website.
By using the website or placing an order, the customer agrees to these Terms together with the Privacy Policy, Shipping and Delivery Policy, and Returns Refunds and Cancellations Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.
Website use
Users must use the website only for lawful purposes and must not interfere with its operation, security or other users. Information supplied when placing an order or creating an account must be accurate, current and complete.
Products and handcrafted character
hoWme offers handcrafted, hand-finished, curated and customised home decor. Natural variations in grain, texture, colour, brushwork, distressing, placement or finish may occur between individual pieces. These variations are part of the handcrafted character and are not defects.
We make reasonable efforts to display product colours and details accurately. Screens, lighting and photography may affect colour perception. Product dimensions, materials, care information and other details stated on the product page should be reviewed before ordering.
Customised and personalised products
Customisation is available only where expressly offered or separately agreed by hoWme. Customers are responsible for checking names, dates, dimensions, colours, artwork, spellings and other approved instructions before confirmation. Production may begin after approval, and later changes may not be possible.
Customised and personalised products cannot be cancelled after dispatch and cannot be returned or exchanged except where the wrong product is delivered or the product is received damaged, subject to the Returns Refunds and Cancellations Policy and applicable law.
Prices taxes and shipping
Prices are shown in Indian Rupees unless stated otherwise. Product prices are generally inclusive of applicable taxes and, in most cases, shipping. If shipping or another charge applies separately, it will be displayed at checkout before the order is placed.
We may correct genuine pricing, description or availability errors. If an error materially affects an order already placed, we will contact the customer and offer an appropriate choice, which may include reconfirmation or cancellation with refund.
Orders and acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. Receipt of an automated order confirmation does not by itself mean that the order has been accepted. Acceptance occurs when hoWme confirms the order for fulfilment or dispatches it, subject to payment, stock, serviceability and verification.
We may refuse or cancel an order for legitimate reasons, including unavailability, incorrect pricing, suspected fraud, failed verification, delivery restrictions or inability to fulfil agreed customisation. If hoWme cancels a paid order, the eligible amount will be refunded.
Payments
Available payment methods are displayed at checkout. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers and are subject to their terms and security procedures. Cash on Delivery, where offered, is subject to postcode, order and verification eligibility.
Dispatch delivery cancellation and returns
Dispatch, delivery, cancellation, replacement and refund terms are governed by the Shipping and Delivery Policy and the Returns Refunds and Cancellations Policy. An order can be cancelled only before dispatch. Once dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.
Care and safe use
Customers should follow the care and usage instructions provided with the product or on the product page. Products must be used for their intended decorative or functional purpose and kept away from unsuitable heat, moisture, flame, chemicals or handling conditions where relevant.
Intellectual property

Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to rights available under consumer law and the jurisdiction of competent consumer authorities or courts, disputes will be subject to the competent courts at Gurugram, Haryana.
